    The Age of Turning Away

Why We Reject What We Don’t Understand—and What It Costs Us
    By Donalee Gastreich  •  October 30, 2026  •  8 min read
A Dose of Donalee: The Age of Turning Away — the four domains of turning away and the ABC framework

    In This Dose of Donalee,
The reflex we all share—and rarely examine.

Protests in the streets. Government leaders stepping down or being pushed out. Wars and unrest across borders. Institutions being questioned, traditions being dismantled, loyalties being renegotiated in real time. Scroll any feed for five minutes and you’ll find someone refusing something—a policy, a person, a pronoun, a premise, a paradigm.

And it’s not only the big, visible refusals. It’s the small ones, too. The eye-roll in the meeting. The unfollow. The “I’m not reading that.” The conversation that ends before it begins. The colleague who tunes out the moment a word lands wrong.

We are all doing it. Every one of us. And it’s easy to point the finger at the ones who are rejecting our thing—our politics, our language, our cause, our truth. But while one finger points at them, three are pointing back at you.

This is not only a communication and vocabulary problem. It’s a resistance problem.

And anything we resist fractures our energy and limits our potential.

So this week, let’s go deeper. Not into their rejection—into ours. Because the reflex to turn away is human, it’s universal, and it’s costing us more than we think.

The Thing We Don’t Say Out Loud

We reject across the board. And we do it fast.

We reject political posturing—from the other side. We reject AI language—because it feels cold, or fake, or like someone is selling us something. We reject LGBTQ+ language—because it asks us to update a map we thought we knew. We reject philosophy—because it feels abstract. We reject psychology—because it feels like excuse-making. We reject evolution—because it asks us to sit with uncertainty. We reject new spirituality—because it feels ungrounded. We reject tradition—because it feels outdated.

    Different targets. Same reflex.

The trigger is real—and it’s ours. Let’s be honest about that before we ask anyone else to be.

    Domain 1: Inside the Leader

What’s actually happening when you reject what you don’t understand

You’re in a meeting. Someone says “energetic intelligence.” Or “let’s look at this through an equity lens.” Or “the model is hallucinating.” Or “we need to hold space for this.” And before you can stop yourself, your jaw tightens. Your chest closes. You think: Here we go. Fluff. Politics. Buzzwords. Not serious.

That bracing is not discernment. It’s protection.

Your brain has classified the unfamiliar as threat before your prefrontal cortex has had a chance to evaluate it. You’ve made a decision in 200 milliseconds—and then spent the next ten minutes building a logical case for it.

The honest truth for leaders: Refusing unfamiliar language feels like maintaining standards. Often it’s just maintaining comfort. And the cost is invisible but real—you stop hearing the signal because you’ve rejected the vocabulary carrying it.

    Three usable tips:

    1. Name the brace before you name the judgment. When you feel the pull to dismiss, pause and locate it in your body. Jaw. Throat. Chest. Say silently: “I’m bracing.” That single act of naming interrupts the automatic rejection and returns choice to you.
    2. Ask the translation question, not the credibility question. Instead of “What does that even mean?” (which signals contempt), try: “Say more—what does that look like in practice?” You get the same information without triggering defensiveness in them or hardening your own position.
    3. Separate the vocabulary from the validity. A clumsy word can carry a precise insight. A polished word can carry nothing. Judge the substance, not the spelling.

    Domain 2: The Personal Level

    What you’re really protecting

When you shut down at unfamiliar language—political, cultural, technical, spiritual, philosophical—ask yourself: What am I protecting?

Usually it’s one of three things:

    • Competence — “If I don’t know this language, I look behind.”
    • Belonging — “If I accept this, am I joining a tribe I don’t respect?”
    • Identity — “This language represents a worldview I’ve decided isn’t mine.”

None of these are shameful. They’re human. But here’s the cost: you stop learning from anyone who speaks differently than you do. And the people most likely to have something you need are usually the ones whose language feels strangest.

The personal practice: Next time you feel triggered, don’t argue with the trigger.

Use it. Ask: “What is this reaction telling me about what I’m afraid of losing?”

    That’s the door in.

Domain 3: The Workplace & Culture

    Where resistance becomes systemic

A single leader’s resistance is a personal pattern. A whole culture’s resistance is a structural ceiling.

    Watch for these signals:

    • The eye-roll economy. Side glances in meetings when someone uses language that doesn’t fit the room—too “woo,” too “woke,” too “tech,” too “academic.” The speaker learns to code-switch or go quiet. Innovation dies quietly.
    • The translation tax. The person bringing new language is expected to do all the work of bridging—explain, defend, simplify—while the receiving side does none. That’s not communication; that’s a toll.
    • The “not serious” filter. New language gets dismissed as unserious before it’s evaluated on merit. AI fluency gets dismissed by traditionalists. Equity language gets dismissed by technocrats. Philosophy gets dismissed as navel-gazing. Every dismissal costs the organization something it can’t see.

    Culture-level tips:

    • Make translation a shared responsibility. When someone introduces unfamiliar language, the room’s job is not to reject it—it’s to ask for the plain-language anchor. “What does that mean in practice?” becomes a norm, not a challenge.
    • Reward the bridge-builders. The people who can speak across divides—technical and human, traditional and emerging, conservative and progressive—are your most valuable communicators. Notice them. Promote them. They’re the ones who make the room expand.
    • Audit your meeting norms. If new ideas die in the room because of how they’re worded, that’s a culture problem wearing a vocabulary costume.

Domain 4: Teams & Individual Relationships

    The micro-triggers that fracture trust

This is where it gets personal—and where it matters most.

The colleague who tunes out when you use a new framework. The manager who says “let’s keep it practical” as a way of saying “let’s keep it familiar.” The family member who changes the subject when politics comes up. The friend who goes quiet when you mention a book that challenged them.

Each of these is a small fracture. Multiply them across a year and you have teams that stop bringing new ideas, families that stop talking honestly, and a culture that mistakes silence for harmony.

The relational practice — my ABC framework:

A — Awareness. Notice the subtle bracing before the dismissal. In yourself and in others. When you see someone check out, don’t assume disinterest—ask “Did I lose you on the language?” Naming it reopens the door.

B — Being. Am I all in my head—or am I bringing all of me present to meet this? IQ (head/analysis), EQ (heart/emotion), PQ (body/somatic), SQ (spirit/meaning). New language requires full presence, not just cognition. When we meet only from the head, we call unfamiliar “wrong” instead of “not yet mapped.” When we bring all four, we can stay in the conversation without abandoning discernment.

C — Curiosity. Can I stay curious and engaged long enough to translate? Curiosity is not agreement. It’s staying in the room without abandoning your standards. Translation is not dilution. It’s how two people with different maps find each other.

One usable move for teams: At the start of any meeting where new concepts will be introduced, say: “If I use a word that doesn’t land, flag it. I’d rather translate than lose you.” That one sentence changes the relational contract.

The Bridge We’re All Called to Build

Here’s what I know after decades in this work:

We are not being asked to abandon our language. We are being asked to build bridges with it.

The leader who can speak AI fluency and human language. The team that can hold new vocabulary and legitimate critique. The culture where curiosity outpaces contempt.

    That’s not a vocabulary skill. That’s a leadership capacity.

    And it’s trainable.

Where This Leads: Leadership Development Is the Answer

Everything I’ve described here—the bracing, the turning away, the fractures in teams, the culture ceiling—these are not solved by a glossary or a communications memo. They’re solved by developing leaders who can hold complexity, stay present, and translate across difference.

That’s the work I do. And it’s the work that changes rooms.

    If you’re a leader who:

    • Feels the rub between staying current and staying true
    • Watches new ideas die because of how they’re worded
    • Wants to build a team culture where curiosity outpaces contempt
    • Needs to integrate change without fracturing your people

—then let’s talk. My leadership training and development programs are built to close exactly this gap: the gap between the language people speak and the language the future requires.

DM me “BRIDGE” and I’ll send you details on the next cohort.

Because if we only speak in the language of the room, the room never expands.

And I’d like to expand it with you.

    This Week’s Practice

Pick one conversation this week where you feel triggered by unfamiliar language—political, cultural, technical, or personal.

Before you dismiss it, do this:

    1. Notice where you brace in your body.
    2. Ask what you’re protecting.
    3. Stay curious for one more question than you normally would.

Then write to me and tell me what happened. I read every reply.

    With curiosity and fire,
    Donalee

P.S. The LinkedIn post that started this—”Are you triggered by language outside your limited vocabulary?”—is still getting comments. If you haven’t added your perspective, I’d love to hear it. And if this newsletter resonated, forward it to one leader who needs to read it.

Anything we resist fractures our energy and limits our potential. Use your triggers. Don’t let them use you.

Judgement: The Anchor that Binds You in 3D

    Moving from Condemnation to Integration
    By Donalee Gastreich  •  September 3, 2026  •  5 min read
Every judgment is just a space inside you where healing, unity, and acceptance have yet to arrive

    Moving from Condemnation to Integration

We are in the thick of it. The shift from 3D duality to 5D unity consciousness isn’t about floating on a cloud or manifesting a parking spot. It is the gritty, uncomfortable, and ultimately liberating process of repossessing our own exiled energy.

In the old paradigm (3D), we used judgment as a compass for separation. We pointed a finger at others to solidify who we were not. It gave us a fleeting hit of safety, reinforcing the illusion that we were “good” and they were “bad.”

But here is the awareness that signals your evolution into New Earth consciousness: Every single judgment you hold is not a truth about the other person. It is a space inside you where healing, unity, and acceptance have yet to arrive.

This is not a flaw. This is a homing signal. And learning to read that signal is the hallmark of the raising consciousness we are all here to embody.

The Mechanics of the Shift (How We Evolve)

When we operate from 3D awareness, we see the world as a stage of victims and villains. We react. We project. We defend.

When we operate from 5D awareness (New Earth), we understand a quantum truth: Reality is a holographic mirror. Every external “threat” is simply an aspect of our own psyche knocking on the door, asking to be brought back into the wholeness of our heart.

Here is what that evolutionary process looks like in practice:

    1. Judgment = The Contraction
That visceral hit of irritation, disgust, or self-righteousness you feel? That is a contraction in your energy field. It is a younger part of you that adopted a rigid belief to survive a past wound. The judgment is the armor. The healing is taking the armor off.

    2. The “Space” is Your Sovereignty
Instead of asking, “Why do I despise you so?” or “Why do I find fault in you?” the evolved question is: “Where in my body am I storing this charge, and what does that space need to hear from my adult self right now?” That empty space isn’t a void; it is untapped real estate for your highest alignment.

    3. Discernment Over Judgment
Let’s get clear: Evolution does not mean you become passive and accept abuse. The difference between 3D and 5D is the frequency of your boundary.

    • 3D Judgment: “You are a terrible, toxic person.”
    • 5D Discernment: “I recognize that your behavior does not align with my values. I lovingly remove my energy from this dynamic without needing to punish you.”

Discernment carries no charge. It is clean. It is the wisdom of the heart, not the wound of the ego.

The Client Application: The “Integration Pause”

As we walk this path of raising consciousness, we must have a practical tool. This is the exercise I guide my clients through when they feel the sting of a heavy judgment:

    1. Catch the Spark: The moment you feel the heat of judgment toward another, pause. Do not suppress it. Do not act on it. Just name it: “I am judging.”
    2. The Inversion: Ask yourself, “Where in my own life have I suppressed this exact trait? Where was I punished for being this way?” (e.g., Judging their laziness? Look at your own burnout. Judging their arrogance? Look at where you dimmed your light.)
    3. The Homecoming: Place your hand on the space in your body that feels tight (your chest, throat, or gut). Breathe into it and say: “I see you. You were trying to protect me. You are safe now. You don’t have to reject this energy anymore; I have room for all of you.”

This is the alchemy. You transmute the judgment into acceptance not by changing the other person, but by welcoming the exiled part of yourself back home.

New Earth Reality: Where We Are Headed

This is our evolution. This is what it truly means to raise consciousness.

Imagine a collective where no one needs to project their shadow onto anyone else. Imagine a world where disagreements happen without demonization—where we can look at the “other side” and recognize that their suffering is merely wearing a different mask than ours.

That is New Earth. It is not a place we go. It is a frequency we hold. And we hold it by doing the un-glamorous, revolutionary work of healing the spaces inside us that we once filled with blame.

When you heal the space, the mirror clears. You stop seeing enemies and start seeing teachers. You stop seeking validation and start embodying sovereignty.

Your evolution is not about becoming perfect. It is about becoming whole. And wholeness, my friends, is the only currency that matters in 5D.

    Your Call to Action

Take a breath right now. Think of a person or situation that currently triggers you. Instead of rehearsing your argument against them, place your hand on your heart.

Whisper to the tight space inside you: “I am no longer your exile. I am your home.”

The world changes when you do. Not because they change, but because you have arrived.

If this resonated with you, drop a 🌍 in the comments if you are ready to clear the old templates and step fully into your New Earth sovereignty. Let’s do this work together.

This is the foundation. But the real question is: What do you do with this awareness once you have it?

Because healing the space inside you isn’t just for your peace of mind—it is the prerequisite for next-level leadership. The old guard led from fear, control, and projection. The New Earth leader leads from wholeness, discernment, and unshakable presence.

If you felt the resonance in these words and know you are being called to step into your sovereign leadership, I have curated a deeper roadmap for you.

The Great Unfolding: A Rise in Consciousness

Understanding our evolution and the current rise in consciousness
By Donalee Gastreich  •  14 min read
The Great Unfolding: The path of spiritual growth is growth from the inside out

We are living through something extraordinary.

Not just technological revolution. Not just societal shifts. Something deeper. Something that has been whispered by mystics, mapped by scientists, and proclaimed by visionaries for millennia.

    A rise in consciousness.

It’s happening now. In boardrooms and meditation halls. In laboratories and living rooms. In the quiet moments between overwhelm and the desperate search for something more.

But to understand where we’re going, we must first understand where we’ve been—and the lineage of thinkers who have been pointing toward this moment all along.

    What Is Consciousness?

Before we go further, let’s ground ourselves.

Consciousness is not merely awareness. It is not simply being awake or alert. At its deepest level, consciousness is the capacity to perceive, experience, and interact with reality—not just through the mind, but through the totality of your being: body, mind, heart, and soul.

Think of it as your operating system. The lens through which you see everything. The filter that determines what you notice, how you interpret it, and how you respond.

Most people operate from a limited lens—one shaped by conditioning, fear, survival, and external validation. It’s like looking at the world through a keyhole and believing that’s all there is.

Higher states of consciousness are like opening the door.

You begin to see more. Not just with your eyes, but with your entire being. You perceive patterns, connections, and meaning that were always there—you just couldn’t see them before.

It’s not about escaping reality. It’s about seeing reality more clearly—and responding from a place of wholeness rather than fragmentation.

Most proclaim greater meaning and purpose, a deeper connection with life itself, and more intimate and loving relationships.

    The Myths About Higher Consciousness

Let’s clear up a few misconceptions:

Myth 1: It’s about escaping the world.
Reality: It’s about showing up more fully in the world—more grounded, more present, more effective.

Myth 2: It requires years of monastic isolation.
Reality: It requires inner work, yes—but that work happens in the midst of your everyday life. In your relationships. Your work. Your challenges.

Myth 3: It’s only for the “spiritually gifted.”
Reality: It’s available to everyone. It’s not a special talent. It’s a birthright.

Myth 4: It means never feeling negative emotions.
Reality: It means experiencing emotions fully—and choosing your response rather than being controlled by them.

Myth 5: You either have it or you don’t.
    Reality: It’s a spectrum. A journey. A practice. You don’t “arrive”—you expand.

The Lineage: Those Who Saw Before Us

The current rise in consciousness is not a new phenomenon. It has been prophesied, mapped, and explored by visionaries across centuries—each one seeing a piece of the puzzle, each one calling us forward.

Let’s walk through the lineage, from the earliest to the most recent:

    1. G.I. Gurdjieff (1866–1949)
    The Fourth Way
Gurdjieff observed that most humans live in a state of “waking sleep”—mechanically reacting to life rather than consciously choosing. He developed the Fourth Way, a practical path of inner work that could be integrated into everyday life rather than requiring monastic withdrawal. His teaching was simple: awaken. Become present. Stop being a puppet of your conditioning.

    2. Rudolf Steiner (1861–1925)
    Anthroposophy
Steiner bridged the material and spiritual worlds, teaching that human consciousness is evolving through distinct stages. His work on Anthroposophy (meaning “wisdom of the human being”) offered a path of spiritual science—a way to perceive higher realities through disciplined inner development. He believed we are becoming capable of perceiving dimensions of reality that were once invisible to us.

    3. Nikola Tesla (1856–1943)
    Energy, Frequency, and Vibration
Tesla’s revolutionary insight went far beyond electricity. He proclaimed that to understand the universe, we must think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration. This wasn’t just physics—it was a spiritual truth. Everything, including our thoughts and emotions, operates at a frequency. To change your life, change your frequency.

    4. Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (1881–1955)
    The Noosphere and Omega Point
Teilhard, a Jesuit priest and paleontologist, envisioned humanity evolving toward a global consciousness he called the Noosphere—a layer of collective thought and spirit enveloping the earth. He pointed toward the Omega Point, a maximum level of complexity and consciousness toward which the universe is converging. He saw evolution not as random, but as purposeful—moving toward greater unity and love.

    5. Carl Jung (1875–1961)
    Individuation
Jung believed the goal of human development was individuation—the integration of all parts of the self, including the shadow, into a whole and balanced being. He taught that we must confront the parts of ourselves we’ve repressed, integrate them, and become more fully who we are. His work laid the foundation for modern understanding of the psyche and its role in spiritual growth.

    6. Aldous Huxley (1894–1963)
    The Perennial Philosophy
Huxley articulated the idea of the Perennial Philosophy—the universal truth that lies at the heart of all major spiritual traditions. He believed that a common human yearning to experience the divine exists across all cultures and times. His work reminded us that we are not alone in this journey; we are part of a long and beautiful thread.

    7. Abraham Maslow (1908–1970)
    Self-Actualization
Maslow revolutionized psychology by studying not what was wrong with people, but what was right. His Hierarchy of Needs placed Self-Actualization at the pinnacle—the drive to become everything one is capable of being. He studied the healthiest, most fulfilled individuals and discovered that they shared a common thread: they were fully themselves. They embraced their uniqueness and lived from a place of authenticity and purpose.

    8. Ram Dass (1931–2019)
    Be Here Now
Ram Dass, born Richard Alpert, was a Harvard psychologist who journeyed to India and returned with a simple yet profound message: be here now. His book of the same name became a cornerstone of the spiritual awakening movement, teaching that the present moment is the only place where life actually happens. He showed us that love, service, and presence are the pathways to awakening—and that we are all “walking each other home.”

    9. Terence McKenna (1946–2000)
    Psychedelic Exploration and the Logos
McKenna was an ethnobotanist, mystic, and visionary who explored the role of psychedelics in expanding human consciousness. He believed that altered states—accessed through plant medicines—revealed dimensions of reality inaccessible through ordinary perception. His famous “Stoned Ape Theory” proposed that psychedelics played a catalytic role in human evolution. McKenna’s work challenged us to take our inner exploration seriously and to recognize that consciousness itself is the great frontier.

    10. Michael Murphy (1930–)
    The Future of the Body
Founder of the Esalen Institute, Murphy documented thousands of cases of supernormal human attributes—from mystics to athletes—in his book The Future of the Body. He argued that these extraordinary capacities are not anomalies, but the “developing limbs of our evolving human nature.” We are growing into something more.

    11. James Redfield (1950–)
    The Celestine Prophecy
Redfield’s novel brought spiritual awakening into the mainstream consciousness in the 1990s. His message: we are experiencing a spiritual awakening as a species. Synchronicities are increasing. Intuition is becoming more accessible. A new understanding of reality is emerging—one that honors connection, purpose, and the unseen forces that guide our lives.

    12. David R. Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D. (1927–2018)
    The Map of Consciousness
Hawkins developed a calibration scale of consciousness—from 1 to 1,000—that maps the full spectrum of human awareness. He identified levels ranging from shame and fear to courage, acceptance, love, and ultimately enlightenment. His work provided a practical framework for understanding where we are and where we’re capable of going.

    13. Ken Wilber (1949–)
    Integral Theory
Wilber created one of the most comprehensive maps of human development ever conceived—Integral Theory (AQAL). His framework honors multiple perspectives, multiple levels of development, and multiple lines of intelligence. He has shown that consciousness is not a single track but a multi-dimensional landscape, and that true growth requires integrating all aspects of our being.

    14. The Monroe Institute (Founded 1971)
    Gateway Process
Founded by Robert Monroe, the Institute has been systematically mapping expanded states of consciousness for over 50 years. Through Hemi-Sync technology and programs like the Gateway Voyage, they guide participants into states of expanded awareness—including “Focus 10” (mind awake, body asleep) and beyond. The CIA even evaluated their work, concluding there was “a sound and rational basis” for considering the process plausible. Over 20,000 people have been through their residential programs, and interest has surged 35% since the pandemic.

    15. Gregg Braden (1954–)
    Pure Human
Braden, a five-time New York Times best-selling author, brings a contemporary and urgent message. His 2025 book, Pure Human, arrives at a pivotal moment—as AI and transhumanist technologies threaten to fuse humans with synthetic systems. His core argument is radical: the qualities that make us human—emotional intelligence, intuition, compassion, creativity, and forgiveness—may be the most powerful technologies of all. He warns that within a single generation, we risk losing our capacity for these gifts if we cede our power to external technologies.

    Meditation: The Common Thread

What is striking about this lineage is that virtually every single one of these figures—from Gurdjieff to Braden—pointed to meditation as the foundational practice for accessing expanded states of consciousness.

Not as an escape. Not as a luxury. But as a necessity.

Ram Dass sat at the feet of his guru. The Monroe Institute uses Hemi-Sync to guide participants into meditative states. Hawkins calibrated consciousness through sustained inner stillness. Even Tesla—the scientist—understood that quieting the mind opened doors to insight that logic alone could never reach.

Meditation is not about emptying your mind.

It’s about training your attention. Quieting the noise so you can hear what’s already there. Accessing the wisdom, intuition, and clarity that are your birthright.

Every one of these visionaries understood: the answers are within. Meditation is the key.

The Crossroads: AI and the Future of Humanity

We now sit at a crossroads unlike any in human history.

The development and explosion of AI is not just a technological shift—it’s an evolutionary one. And how we respond will determine the course of humanity for generations to come.

    Three paths are emerging:

    1. The Pure Human
This is the path of inner evolution. The human who chooses to develop their consciousness, emotional intelligence, intuition, and heart coherence. The human who sees technology as a tool, not a replacement. The human who remembers that no algorithm can replicate love, compassion, creativity, or presence.

Gregg Braden’s Pure Human speaks directly to this: our divinity, power, and destiny lie not in merging with machines, but in activating what we already are.

    2. The Hybrid Human
This is the path of integration without domination. The human who uses technology to enhance—but not replace—their humanity. Brain-computer interfaces, biofeedback, wearable tech that optimizes health. These tools can support our evolution if we remain the driver, not the passenger.

The danger? Ceding our sovereignty to external systems. Letting algorithms think for us. Allowing technology to define what it means to be human.

    3. The Mechanically Altered Human
This is the path of transhumanism—where biology is “upgraded” with synthetic parts, chips, and AI integration. Where consciousness is uploaded. Where the line between human and machine dissolves entirely.

The question is not whether this is possible.

The question is: what do we lose in the process?

What happens to the soul? To intuition? To the sacred dimension of being human that no algorithm can touch?

    The choice is ours.

And it’s being made now—in boardrooms, in policy debates, in the quiet decisions of individuals.

Will we outsource our humanity to technology? Or will we evolve from the inside out—becoming so fully us that we become irreplaceable?

The Theology of Bringing All of Us to the Party

This brings us to the heart of my work.

We are not just minds to be optimized or bodies to be enhanced.

We are body, mind, heart, and soul—dynamic, life-force energy evolving just as rapidly as any technology when our focus and intention are directed within.

    My theology is simple:

Bring all of you to the work you do.

Not the fragmented you. Not the performative you. Not the conditioned, reactive, ego-driven version of you.

All of you. The quirks, the shadows, the gifts, the fears, the love, the purpose, the power.

    Because here’s the truth:

When you bring all of you, you unlock something extraordinary. You become more than productive—you become generative. More than successful—you become significant. More than efficient—you become essential.

    Activating Heart Intelligence

The heart is not just a pump. It’s a brain. A center of intelligence that communicates with the mind, the body, and the world around us.

When we learn to activate heart intelligence, we shift from the survival-driven patterns of the lower brain to the coherence and clarity of the heart. We access intuition. Compassion. Creativity. Connection.

Heart coherence is not woo-woo—it’s science and the work of HeartMath Institute. And it’s a game-changer for leadership, for relationships, and for life.

    The ABCs to Breakthrough

My work is grounded in a practical framework:

    A – Awareness
See what’s really happening. Within you and around you.

    B – Being
Align your energy. Clear the noise. Come back to center. Bring all of you.

    C – Curiosity
Integrate body, mind, heart, and soul. Wonder and curiosity open pathways to more.

    EnQ: The Game-Changer

EnQ is my signature approach—a methodology for activating coherent energy in business, leadership, and life.

When you are in coherence, you are:

    • Unyielding to external chaos
    • Clear in your vision and decisions
    • Magnetic to the right opportunities and people
    • Aligned with your highest purpose

It’s not about controlling others. It’s about monitoring, managing, and mastering yourself.

And from that place, you lead. You create. You thrive.

    What They All Knew

Across centuries, cultures, and disciplines, the visionaries we’ve explored shared a common understanding:

    1. Human potential is vast and largely untapped.
We are operating far below our true capacity.

    2. The path is inward, not outward.
Not accumulation. Not status. Not external validation. The work is within.

    3. Consciousness itself is the technology.
Tesla’s “energy, frequency, vibration.” Monroe’s Hemi-Sync. Braden’s heart-brain coherence. The instrument is us.

    4. We are at a choice point.
From Teilhard’s Omega Point to Braden’s crossroads with AI, there’s a shared sense of urgency. Humanity is evolving, and the direction is not guaranteed.

    5. This is not escapism—it’s leadership.
None of these figures taught withdrawal. They taught presence. Integration. Responsibility.

    6. The heart is the gateway.
Whether through meditation, psychedelics, or heart-centered practice, the path to higher consciousness runs through coherence.

    What Is the “New Earth”?

You’ve heard the phrase. But what does it actually mean?

The New Earth is not a physical place. It’s not a utopia we wait to arrive. It’s a shift in consciousness—a new way of perceiving and relating to life.

    It’s the recognition that:

    • We are interconnected, not separate
    • Inner peace is not dependent on outer circumstances
    • Our thoughts, emotions, and intentions shape our reality
    • We are co-creators, not victims of our lives
    • The old ways—consumption, competition, ego-driven achievement—are giving way to collaboration, purpose, and soul-aligned living

The New Earth is emerging right now, in the hearts and minds of those who are choosing to wake up. It doesn’t require waiting for the world to change. It requires changing how we see the world—and then acting from that new seeing.

A Note for Business and Leadership

This is not just personal development. It’s a business imperative.

The old model of leadership—command and control, ego-driven, focused solely on numbers—is crumbling. It cannot hold in the face of the complexity we face today.

    What’s emerging is conscious leadership:

    • Leaders who know themselves
    • Leaders who bring all of themselves to the work they do
    • Leaders who operate from alignment, not pressure
    • Leaders who create cultures of trust, creativity, and purpose

    Because here’s the truth:

AI can process data. It cannot process soul.

Technology can optimize systems. It cannot optimize human connection.

Machines can generate outputs. They cannot generate meaning.

The future belongs to those who remember what it means to be fully human.

    The Invitation

You are standing at a crossroads.

On one side: the old path. Behavior modification. Groupthink. Consumption. Status. Ego-driven achievement that looks impressive on paper but leaves you hollow at the core.

On the other: the path of inner growth. Healing. Letting go. Exploring. Trusting. Becoming more of who you truly are.

    The old path built careers.
    The new path builds lives.

The choice is yours. And it’s made not once, but every single day—in how you show up, what you prioritize, and who you choose to become.

    The lineage is clear.

From Gurdjieff to Braden, from Tesla to The Monroe Institute, the message has been whispered—and sometimes shouted—for generations:

    You are programmable by design.

The question is: who or what is doing the programming?

The old path programs you from the outside in—through environment, conditioning, fear, and ego.

The new path? You take back the controls.

    Claim Your Power

This is what my work is about.

Bringing Spirituality into Business. Bringing all of you to the work you do. Remembering that you are not just a mind processing information—you are body, mind, heart, and soul, dynamic life-force energy evolving just as rapidly as any technology when your focus and intention are directed within.

If you’re ready to stop running on default mode and start programming yourself with intention…

If you’re ready to bring all of you to the table…

If you’re ready to lead—not from ego, but from presence…

Then you’re ready for this journey.

    Beyond Matter Is Energy

Why the Next Era of Leadership, Work, and Human Potential Begins with Energy

Beyond Matter: Energy — the next era of leadership, work, and human potential begins with energy

Donalee Gastreich — Leadership & Culture Concierge | EnQ Specialist. Sensing friction, illuminating blind spots, and pivoting prior to crisis—turning uncertainty into calm, steady presence.

The future advantage may not belong to the smartest leaders—but to the ones who understand energy.

For centuries, we have built our understanding of success around what we could see.

Matter. Output. Performance. Productivity. Titles. Metrics. Achievement.

We became masters at measuring what is visible.

But a deeper question is beginning to emerge:

What if energy—our internal state, attention, coherence, physiology, and presence—has been shaping our experience far more than we realized?

Across neuroscience, physiology, leadership science, and human development, an emerging awareness is taking hold:

What creates results may matter just as much as the results themselves.

Because before there is action, there is activation. Before there is behavior, there is perception. Before there is performance, there is energy.

And perhaps the next era of human potential will not be defined by how much we produce—but by our ability to understand and intentionally work with the forces that produce us.

The Science Is Catching Up to What Humans Have Long Felt

    Every thought carries electrical activity.
Every heartbeat produces an electrical signal.
Every electrical signal generates a magnetic field.

Your body is not simply chemical. It is electrochemical.

And your heart—one of the most extraordinary organs in the body—generates the largest rhythmic electromagnetic field we currently measure in human physiology.

Researchers measure this through tools like:

    • ECG (electrocardiography)
    • HRV (heart rate variability)
    • Magnetocardiography

What is becoming increasingly interesting is not simply that these fields exist. It is that our internal states appear measurable through them.

Stress patterns. Recovery patterns. Emotional regulation. Coherence. Resilience.

States once dismissed as intangible are becoming observable.

And while science is still exploring how humans influence one another physiologically, we already know something important:

Human beings are not isolated systems.

    We affect one another.

Emotion spreads. Stress spreads. Calm spreads. Trust spreads. Presence spreads.

Anyone who has walked into a room and immediately felt tension—or immediately relaxed—already knows this.

Your body knew before your mind explained it.

The New Frontier Is Not More Information. It Is Better Regulation.

For years we believed intelligence alone would lead.

    IQ. Strategy. Knowledge. Optimization.

But leaders everywhere are discovering a limit.

You can know exactly what to do and still not be able to embody it.

    Why?

    Because states drive behavior.

    Internal coherence influences external performance.

This is where energetics enters the conversation.

Energetics is not about abandoning logic. It is about understanding that energy, attention, emotional states, physiology, and awareness are upstream variables influencing everything downstream.

Leadership. Relationships. Culture. Creativity. Decision-making. Innovation. Health. Results.

    The Workplace Is Already Changing

The future workplace will not simply ask:

    “What do employees know?”

    It will ask:

“What state are people operating from?”

    • Can leaders regulate under pressure?
    • Can teams create psychological safety?
    • Can humans sustain creativity without burnout?
    • Can people remain connected while navigating uncertainty?

Organizations are already measuring nervous system recovery, stress adaptation, resilience, emotional intelligence, attention, and engagement.

Soon, presence may become as trainable as productivity.

Coherence may become as valuable as competence.

And energetic intelligence may become one of the defining leadership capabilities of our time.

Energy Is Not Separate from Reality. It Is Part of How Reality Forms.

This does not mean thoughts magically create outcomes.

It means internal conditions shape what becomes possible.

    Energy influences attention.
    Attention influences perception.
    Perception influences behavior.
    Behavior influences results.

    Which means…

    How you think matters.
    How you feel matters.
    How you regulate matters.
    How you show up matters.

Perhaps the next era is not leaving matter behind.

Perhaps it is remembering that matter was never the whole story—and beginning to understand the forces that organize it.

    The question is no longer:

    “What are you producing?”

    The deeper question becomes:

    “What are you producing from?”

A Growing Awareness of Frequency, Environment, and Human Sensitivity

There is another layer of this conversation beginning to emerge.

As we deepen our understanding of physiology, coherence, and human performance, many people are becoming increasingly curious about something once dismissed as too subtle to matter: frequency.

Not simply in the electromagnetic sense. But in the broader understanding that human beings exist inside constantly interacting environments of signals, rhythms, patterns, energy, information, sound, light, emotion, and attention.

    We know environment shapes experience.

    Circadian rhythms influence hormones.
    Sound influences mood.
    Light influences sleep.
    Stress influences immune function.
    Emotions influence physiology.

Human bodies continuously receive and respond to signals—many below conscious awareness.

    This raises fascinating questions:

    • How much of what we experience is internally generated?
    • How much is environmentally influenced?
    • And how much of our future growth will come from becoming more aware of what we already sense?

Perhaps what some people describe as heightened intuition, expanded consciousness, or deeper knowing is not about becoming less scientific.

Perhaps it is becoming more perceptive. More attuned. More coherent. More capable of noticing subtle information that was always present.

Our ancestors relied heavily on sensing. Modern life taught us to prioritize analysis.

The next evolution may not reject intellect. It may integrate intellect with embodied awareness.

This does not mean every feeling is truth. It does mean our internal signals deserve curiosity.

Because awareness itself changes what becomes available.

And perhaps one of the greatest opportunities ahead is not learning more—but remembering how to listen more deeply.

Not only to data. But to ourselves.
