Yoga Nidra is called many things from iRest to Yogic Sleep or a sleep-based meditation. It does not matter what it is called, once you experience it you may never want to come out of this beautiful state of bliss and well-being.

This is an ancient technology that is being utilized today to reduce stress, heal anxiety and calm the mind in the storm of overwhelm. It is our belief at Amrit Yoga Institute that for the world to change we all must change ourselves.

Often this task seems very complex, however, yoga nidra does the work for you while you rest. It works on a deep level and you will notice remarkable changes in just the first session.

Continue for 11 hours, over the course of 2 weeks, and see even greater results. We suggest you do this session once in the morning and once in the evening before bed.

The Process of Yoga Nidra Yoga Nidra is practiced in a comfortable lying down position. You are guided through a series of breathing exercises and simple instructions. Some of these include visual imagery or a scan of the body, which occupies the mind and prevents it from becoming involved in the usual mind-chatter that absorbs our ordinary consciousness. Within a short time, you become submerged in the alpha state.. We feel this technique can take your personal sadhana or practice to a new level.

If you would like to learn to conduct these sessions live and be a professional facilitator of Yoga Nidra with the Amrit Yoga Institute then click on the link to find out more about our Immersion and Professional Training Coming Up.

Yoga Nidra by Radha is a complete 35 minute yoga nidra session that can help you relax. Use it in conjunction with our other yoga nidra sessions.

There is a river of stillness that runs inside each of us, our job is to find it and soak in those still waters. Yoga Nidra is an ancient technique where you position yourself in a comfortable place and you are guided in meditation to be in your body. A place of feeling and deep relaxation.

Yoga Nidra is being studied and has been proven effective to reduce stress, tension, anxiety, sleeplessness and many other psychological disorders.

Yoga Nidra “yogic sleep” allows for the release of many negative patterns in the mind to unravel and ultimately dissolve. You don’t have to do anything, instead you allow Yoga Nidra to take you where you need to go. This is the difference between making it happen and letting it happen.

Yoga Nidra is deep and will nourish the soul, the mind, the heart and the body. We encourage you to do this two times a day. Powerful changes come with practice.

Be in a place where you will not be disturbed and you may wish to cover your body as your temperature may drop while in session. Enjoy and PLEASE COMMENT BELOW- SHARE AND LIKE US.
